In the case of booking a room or paying for another service online, we will ask you to provide us with your name, phone number, email address and credit card’s type, number and expiration date (the data is transmitted directly to the booking agent by telephone and not via e-mail) and for additional information should you have any special wishes regarding your accommodation (e.g. a non-smoking room). We will send a confirmation of your reservation or instructions on how to make a reservation to your email address. Your personal information processed due to the confirmation of your reservation (that is your name, contact details and credit card information) is transmitted via secure SSL protocol. This SSL protocol allows your personal information to be encrypted and travel securely over Internet connections. Encryption is activated before the transfer of personal data begins. Upon registration for the selected accommodation, we will ask you to provide us with some information which Istrabenz Turizem d.d. has to collect due to the legal obligation to keep the guest book statistics and to provide information to the Police for keeping the register of hotel guests. This obligation is determined by the Registration of Residence Act, which requires us to collect and report the following information:
- name and surname,
- date of birth,
- sex,
- citizenship and
- the number and type of identification document.
If you will refuse to provide us with this information, we will not be able to confirm your stay with us. We are obliged to keep this information in the guest book for an additional year from the end of the calendar year in which you have stayed with us and will therefore not be deleted upon your request.
At registration, we will also ask you to share your address. We are entitled to this information in case of any unsettled obligations that were incurred during your stay with us. If you refuse to provide us with this information, we reserve the right to refuse your stay in our hotels.
In accordance with the law, we will be able to verify the accuracy of the information by inspecting your personal document.
