Sauna park

The Sauna Park is unique in Europe. Due to its diversity and abundant offerings. Approx. 1,000 square meters and 7 types of sauna. Do not miss the exceptional ones - salt saunas, where we use naturally grown salt from Sečovlje salt pans and the ice cave, the first in Slovenia.

Salt sauna

The salt sauna is a mild form of sauna with extremely beneficial effects on the motor functions and the respiratory tract. After the initial 15 minutes of warming up at a temperature of 65°C, the detoxification of the body begins and with it, immune system strengthening; the next process of scrubbing the body with natural salt from the Sečovlje salt pans is the optimal skin treatment, because it moisturises it and improves circulation for a healthier, more glowing and more beautiful look. The salt sauna is an introduction to the other saunas, which are more effective after this kind of scrub. For very sensitive and damaged skin, warming up in the salt cabin is sufficient.

  • Temperature: 60-65°C
  • Humidity: 30%
  • Number of repetitions (cycles): 1
  • The duration of each cycle: 15-20 minutes (warming and scrub)
  • Recommended frequency of use: once per week, even less for sensitive skin
  • Sauna wear: sheet
Resting place wear: large towel or bathrobe
  • Additives: salt (finely ground)

Thalasso sauna

In this sauna, brine from the Piran salt-pans is evaporated. The combination of heat, moisture and brine inhalation has a beneficial effect on the airways, circulation and skin.

The ultimate effect is the relaxation of muscle tension, and the alleviation of stress and pain in the body and joints.

We recommend it, especially if you have respiratory problems. In the Thalasso sauna, we effectively achieve relaxation and body regeneration in a mild way.

  • Temperature: 42-45°C

  • Number of repetitions (cycles): 1-3
  • The duration of each cycle is 15-20 minutes

Moorish sauna

This form of sauna is actually a classic Turkish bath. It has a high degree of humidity, which creates an extremely relaxing climate. It purifies the airways, strengthens the flow of lymph and blood in the body, relaxes muscle tension, and makes the skin supple and soft.

Tepidarium

It is a room with thermal radiation intended for the gradual warming of the body, and thus also the strengthening of the immune system, without burdening the circulation.

Tepidarium is recommended for prevention, relaxation and regeneration for all age groups. The room has typical ceramic loungers, heated to body temperature, which contribute to complete relaxation.

This type of sauna can be used independently, especially for people who do not like too much heat, or as preparation for the Finnish sauna.

Finnish sauna

It is the most common form of sauna, aimed at strengthening the immune system, and thus preventing viral and bacterial diseases.

It has a beneficial effect on the motor system and it relieves stress. The high temperature in the sauna causes pronounced sweating, which, due to the dry environment, does not cause problems. For this reason, we can lose a lot of fluids and minerals, so they should be replaced during a sauna treatment.

For everyone who is used to saunas, we recommend cooling the body by pouring cold water from the bucket in front of the Finnish sauna, visiting the ice cave or immersing oneself in the cold water pool.

  • Temperature: 85-110°C
  • Humidity: up to 15%
  • Number of repetitions (cycles): 1-3
  • The duration of each cycle is 8-15 minutes
  • The duration of pauses in-between is 15-30 minutes
  • Recommended frequency of use: twice a week
  • Sauna wear: sheet (without bathing suit)
  • Resting place wear: large towel or bathrobe
