An infrared sauna heats the body from the inside out. It is recommended especially for beginners. The body is heated deeply, the internal organs are cleansed and circulation is increased. Excess salts, toxic waste substances and viruses are flushed out of the body.
Here are 7 of the healing effects of an IR sauna:

  • for relaxation and restoring balance in the body,
  • to effectively eliminate toxins,
  • to improve circulation,
  • for a thorough cleansing of the skin,
  • for pain relief,
  • to lose excess weight,
  • muscle regeneration and an effective immune system.

Salt sauna

The salt sauna is a mild form of sauna with extremely beneficial effects on the motor functions and the respiratory tract. After the initial 15 minutes of warming up at a temperature of 35°C, the detoxification of the body begins and with it, immune system strengthening; the next process of scrubbing the body with natural salt from the Sečovlje salt pans is the optimal skin treatment, because it moisturises it and improves circulation for a healthier, more glowing and more beautiful look. The salt sauna is an introduction to the other saunas, which are more effective after this kind of scrub. For very sensitive and damaged skin, warming up in the salt cabin is sufficient.

Thalasso sauna

In this sauna, brine from the Piran salt-pans is evaporated. The combination of heat, moisture and brine inhalation has a beneficial effect on the airways, circulation and skin.

The ultimate effect is the relaxation of muscle tension, and the alleviation of stress and pain in the body and joints.

We recommend it, especially if you have respiratory problems. In the Thalasso sauna, we effectively achieve relaxation and body regeneration in a mild way.

Finnish sauna

It is the most common form of sauna, aimed at strengthening the immune system, and thus preventing viral and bacterial diseases.

It has a beneficial effect on the motor system and it relieves stress. The high temperature in the sauna causes pronounced sweating, which, due to the dry environment, does not cause problems. For this reason, we can lose a lot of fluids and minerals, so they should be replaced during a sauna treatment.

For everyone who is used to saunas, we recommend cooling the body by pouring cold water from the bucket in front of the Finnish sauna, visiting the ice cave or immersing oneself in the cold water pool.

  • Temperature: 85-110°C

Refresh your overheated body. Cover it in ice. When you exit the sauna, stop at the ice cave.

  • Humidity: 0%
  • Number of repetitions (cycles): 1-3
  • The duration of each cycle: 5-10 minutes
  • Recommended frequency of use: twice per week.
  • Sauna wear: sheet
