How will a vacation in a hotel look like after the end of the epidemic?

04. 06. 2020
After two months of quarantine, you can finally relax and start planning your summer vacation. It will certainly be different than you have been used to so far. Excessive concern is nonetheless unnecessary because as providers of tourist accommodation, we will take care of your safety. Read about the measures we have taken to ensure this at LifeClass hotels.
How will a vacation in a hotel look like after the end of the epidemic?
  1. Disinfection in the hotels

As the safety of the guests and our personnel is even more important this year, we have further updated the existing hygiene standards and added some new rules based on the instructions of the National Institute of Public Health (NIJZ).

In LifeClass hotels, disinfection of all public areas is a priority. Disinfectants will also be available to guests in all common areas, and all hotel cards, keys and rooms will be disinfected after the departure of each guest.

How will we prepare your room?

  1. After completing the established procedure of cleaning the room, all critical points will be sanitised with disinfectants (the points are marked in the picture).
  2. We will remove all decorative cushions and bedspreads from the room, as well as all printed materials, except for disposable ones.
  3. Once the room has been cleaned, disinfected and made ready for a new guest, the staff will not enter the room again.

 2. Reducing unnecessary contacts

Restricting contacts also applies to other staff – the porter will only deliver your luggage to the door of your room, and you can also opt for the possibility that the maid never enters the room during your stay.

  1. Printed materials only at reception

Printed materials with tourist information will be available to guests only at the hotel reception, not in the rooms, as we have been accustomed to so far.

  1. Safety distance in the restaurant

Common hotel areas may seem like a challenge, but the staff will ensure that an appropriate distance is maintained at all times. LifeClass hotels will therefore offer a buffet breakfast and dinner where you will be able to serve the food of your choice - face mask and gloves are mandatory when entering a restaurant. The staff will make sure that there is an adequate safety distance between the tables. The tables and chairs will be carefully disinfected after the guest leaves the restaurant. Guests are kindly requested to respect the hour of dinner, which will be allocated upon arrival at the hotel.

  1. Safety will also be provided in beauty and massage centres

The masseur or the beautician will wear a face mask and a visor at all times. Masks will also be available for guests who have not brought their own. Disinfection of hands, all surfaces, devices and used objects is planned after each client.

  1. Carefree visits to the pool and the hotel beach

In LifeClass hotels, we have also taken care of the carefree use of the pools. A safety distance of 1.5 to 2 m will have to be observed in front of the entrance to the swimming pool, in the locker rooms, under the showers, on the sun terrace, and between the loungers. It is up to you, the guests, to take care of maintaining an appropriate distance between you while swimming – the only exceptions are family members who live together. In view of the recommendations by the National Institute of Public Health, we inform you that there will be restrictions on entry to the pools, and we will ask you for your understanding.

Compliance with the measures will be monitored by the staff at the swimming pool, who will also take care of the disinfection of loungers and other equipment. A similar regime will apply to the hotels’ Meduza beach, where disinfected loungers will be deployed at the recommended safety distance.
