Laser therapy – pain-alleviating therapy (one location)
The therapy involves a focused light of specific frequencies. It improves the tension of the blood veins, the blood circulation in the affected area and consequently, also cellular metabolism and renewal. It promotes the healing of wounds and reduces pain, cramps and localised inflammations. It also acts against bacteria and viruses. Laser therapy is effectively used to treat skin problems (wounds and lesions on the shin, changes in the skin due to herpes or herpes zoster, scars following an operation or an injury) and some diseases of the locomotor system, such as acute conditions (myalgia, sports injuries, conditions after operations, dislocations and blows) and chronic conditions (pains along the spine, degenerative arthritis of larger joints, degenerative arthritis of smaller joints in the arms and legs).
