Sea water – the sea, the source of life, equilibrium and vitality
On the northern part of the Adriatic, where the sea is most deeply indented to the mainland, the sea water is most pure, warm and of a sky blue colour. The sea together with its beneficial by-products offers unlimited possibilities of recreation and well-being.
Natural sea baths have beneficial effects on the body; improve the circulation of the blood and metabolism. Swimming stimulates breathing and the functioning of the heart. The thorax is strongly expanded and contracted and the respiratory muscles are strengthened, thus improving the health condition of people with chronic lung diseases. Bathing in the sea water is recommended to people with back trouble as exercises in water are much easier to perform. Greater mobility means more exercise and stronger muscles.
