Sandro Chia (Florence, 1946) is the fourth representative of Italian Transavantgarde, an important artistic movement of the 20th century, and is now exhibiting in Piran Coastal Galleries. The artist is considered to be the leading representative of this group, which also comprises Francesco Clemente, Enzo Cucchi, Mimmo Paladino and Nicola De Maria.
