Portorož is the sunniest city in Slovenia. There were only 80 days that were fully cloudy last year.

According to the data of the Statistical office of the Republic of Slovenia, Portorož saw most sunny hours in Slovenia in 2009, i.e. 2411, and only 80 days were covered in clouds.

Kredarica had most days with snow cover – 273 days, and Portorož had least – one day only.
