How to Prepare a Delicious Istrian Dish?

Istrian “Fuži” - Istrian Pasta with Truffles

  • “Fuži” Istrian pasta
  • Truffles
  • Butter
  • Whipped cream
  • Egg yolks
  • Olive oil
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper


Cook the pasta in hot water. Drain the cooked pasta, rinse it with warm water and add a tablespoon of olive oil and a bit of the water in which it was cooked. Stir. Grate the truffles, sauté them on butter in a frying pan and then pour in the whipped cream and, if necessary, wine. Season with salt and pepper, add the egg yolk and stir thoroughly. Pour the sauce over the pasta and sprinkle with the Parmesan cheese.

Blue Mussels Buzara Style

  • 1 kg washed fresh blue mussels 
  • 2 spoons olive oil
  • 1 dl Malvasia wine
  • 1 spoon breadcrumbs
  • Chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic

 


Braise the mussels in hot oil. Add the wine, parsley, garlic and breadcrumbs. Mix all the ingredients together thoroughly and stew until the mussels open. Serve hot with fresh white bread.
