A part the remarkable mosaic of Slovenian heritage is also woven into the story of LifeClass Hotels & Spa. The presentation of premium local wines has become a key element of the rich offer of our hotels. For quite a long time, we have been pampering our dearest guests with “Slovenian Cuisine Evenings” on Mondays, and “Istrian and Mediterranean Cuisine Evenings” on Wednesdays. In addition, every Tuesday we organise the presentation and tasting of select Slovenian wines.

Beginning at 6 p.m. every Tuesday in Café Central (Grand Hotel Portorož), each presentation includes one winemaker presenting you select wines from their winery. You may taste the wines, have a conversation with a winemaker, and perhaps even visit their winery. You may also buy the wine on the very spot. Wine tasting takes place from October to April.
